About the Ingredients

  • Gut Rebuild for Dogs features Peptacetobacter hiranonis, a canine-specific probiotic strain considered a keystone species in the dog gut microbiome. Isolated from a healthy dog and validated through rigorous safety and efficacy trials by Animal Biome’s team of microbiome experts, P. hiranonis converts primary bile acids into beneficial molecules that support healthy digestion and strengthen gut defenses.
  • Science-backed probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii and proprietary bacteriophage blend PreforPro® work together to provide fast-acting symptom relief and support the colonization of P. hiranonis for restored microbiome balance.

Is this the right product for my dog?

  • Gut Rebuild is designed to promote more symptom-free days in dogs with occasional or intermittent digestive issues. It supports deeper microbiome restoration than Gut Maintain for Dogs, but is not the full ecosystem replacement offered by Gut Restore. 
  • Gut Rebuild is a powerful tool to help the microbiome recover from disturbances, especially antibiotic use, which can significantly reduce P. hiranonis levels. 
  • For dogs with severe and longstanding digestive issues, Gut Rebuild can be used alongside Gut Restore for comprehensive microbiome restoration and symptom relief. 

Directions for Use

Administer the recommended number of capsules per day, based on your dog’s body weight (see chart).

  • For very sensitive dogs, you may start with one capsule per day and slowly transition up to two capsules per day. 
  • Gut Rebuild capsules can be administered whole, or they can be opened to mix the powder with food. 
  • The daily recommended amount of Gut Rebuild can be given together or at different times, with or without food. 
  • To maximize the benefits of Gut Rebuild, we recommend continuous daily use for at least 30 days.
  • Due to the living bacteria in Gut Rebuild, it is perishable once opened. Especially in warm or humid climates, we recommend storing in the refrigerator.

Dog Weight (lbs) and the Recommended Daily Amount

  • 0 - 10 lbs = 1 Small capsule per day
  • 11 - 20 lbs = 2 Small capsules per day
  • 21 - 40 bs = 2 Medium capsules per day
  • 41 - 60 lbs = 2 Large capsules per day
  • 61 - 80 lbs = 3 Large capsules per day
  • 81+ lbs = 4 Large capsules per day

As with all supplements, consult with your veterinarian before use, especially if your pet has a health condition.

Storage Instructions: Store in a cool, dry place. 

The best-by date for this product is generally 4-6 months from purchase date.
