Literally saved my cat's life!

My cat was diagnosed with IBD about 4 years ago. At that time, he was about 9 pounds. We tried every special protein food available, but by this May, he had dropped below 6 pounds. I was afraid he wouldn't be with me much longer. That's when my vet did some research and discovered this product. I immediately started him on 1 capsule per day. He gained almost a pound over the next 3 months. About 6 weeks ago, I started him on 2 capsules a day. He's still gaining weight and his litter box is looking much better. My cat is 18 years old and has hyperthyroidism, which causes soft stools and diarrhea. My vet prescribed Felimazole and recommended FortiFlora, but there was no improvement for a couple of years. I brought her to different doctors, but none could figure out the cause of her chronic diarrhea.

Last year, her condition became more serious — she started having watery stools and vomiting. After another vet visit and an X-ray, the reason was still unknown. My vet then suggested trying Animal Biome Gut Restore.

I bought the first bottle (60 capsules) and gave her one capsule per day, but I didn’t see much improvement, so I stopped using it for a while since it’s quite expensive. After about two months, her condition got worse, so I decided to give it another try, this time, I gave her two capsules per day.

Surprisingly, she started to improve! I no longer heard any gas sounds when she pooped, and but her stool still a bit soft. I plan to continue using it and hope it will fully help her gut recover.

A miracle!

I work in GI and in humans we do fecal transplant all the time. When my 3 legged kitty started having GI issues and lost over 2 pounds, we ran lots of tests and did diet changes, but he still had liquid pouring out of his bottom. Really helped

Our dog was suffering badly with bouts of pancreatitis, gastritis and diarrhea all summer. We had tried the probiotics the vet prescribed but could not get him off antibiotics without recurrent diarrhea. He was severely underweight and we were considering euthanasia as he is 14 years old. We tried changing his dog food, steroids, and eliminating all treats. Even a strict homemade diet didn’t do the trick. We started him on this product and he was able to wean off antibiotics and steroids successfully. His weight is back on and he has been happy and vibrant despite his age. About a year ago, seemingly out of nowhere, Augie developed IBD and a slew of allergies and I struggled to find anything to feed him that he was willing to eat that didn't make him sicker. His anxiety levels also went through the roof, and he'd go into an absolute panic for something as small as a fly in the house. Eventually I discovered that cooking him sweet potatoes and tilapia, fortified with pricy supplements, was palatable and allowed him to put some weight back on, but as a giant breed, cooking for him was consuming a lot of my time and budget. I was pretty skeptical when I heard about Gut Restore, but it's done wonders. He's back to his big healthy, bouncy self, excitedly eating limited ingredient kibble and the occasional treat, and his IBD-related anxiety has abated (he's high strung in general, but it was unmanageable for a while there). He was in such bad shape when we started that the Gut Restore was making him sicker, so we had to start very slowly, with one pill every other morning so that I could monitor him during the day. Over time we built up to two a day and will keep him on two a day for a month before tapering off.
