  • Gut Rebuild for Dogs features Peptacetobacter hiranonis, a canine-specific probiotic strain considered a keystone species in the dog gut microbiome. Is this the right product for my dog?

Directions for Use

Administer the recommended number of capsules per day, based on your dog’s body weight (seetable ).

  • For very sensitive dogs, you may start with one capsule per day and slowly transition up to two capsules per day. 
  • Gut Rebuild capsules can be administered whole, or they can be opened to mix the powder with food. 
  • The daily recommended amount of Gut Rebuild can be given together or at different times, with or without food. 
  • To maximize the benefits of Gut Rebuild, we recommend continuous daily use for at least 30 days.

    Not for use in dogs with severe constipation.

  • 0 - 10 lbs = 1 Small capsule per day
  • 11 - 20 lbs = 2 Small capsules per day
  • 21 - 40 bs = 2 Medium capsules per day
  • 41 - 60 lbs = 2 Large capsules per day
  • 61 - 80 lbs = 3 Large capsules per day
  • 81+ lbs = 4 Large capsules per day

Storage Instructions

Gut Rebuild does not need to be frozen or refrigerated, but US orders are shipped with a cold pack during the summer months as an added layer of protection from prolonged heat exposure. 

After delivery, store Gut Rebuild in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive humidity. Routine refrigeration is unnecessary and can subject the probiotic to repeated temperature fluctuations during daily use.

The best-by date for Gut Rebuild is generally 4-6 months from the purchase date.

I’m outside the US. Will Gut Rebuild still be effective if it’s shipped without temperature-protective packaging?

Protective packaging is not a requirement for Gut Rebuild to be effective; it is simply an added layer of protection during transit. The probiotics in Gut Rebuild have been carefully studied and tested to ensure that they will still be potent and effective when you administer them to your pet.

Why does Gut Rebuild ship with a cold pack if it shouldn't be refrigerated?

The cold pack is intended to help protect Gut Rebuild from extreme heat during transit, such as when the package is left in a mailbox or delivery vehicle during hot weather. Gut Rebuild does not need to be refrigerated for normal storage.
