For Digestive Health Maintenance and Occasional Diarrhea
Our dog had been scratching and biting so much that we were having to leave a inflatable dog collar on most of the time. It took a while for the Skin Rescue to make a difference but after 2 months of Skin Rescue, her hair has grown back and she is not scratching much. Her skin is no longer raw in spite of the peak allergy season.
Patch has had severe allergies for awhile now. She has been on cyclosporine for quite a while which helped in some ways but left a lot to be desired. This past fall she had a severe flare up and licked most of the hair off of her legs and belly. We just finished our first bottle of skin rescue and are looking forward to seeing what the second bottle brings. Patch has started to regrow fur and is definitely itching a lot less. She doesn't love the flavor but she eats it mixed with churu, which is fortunate because she cannot be pilled. Thanks for creating this!
While my IBD golden still had a few mini-flares, the Gut Rebuild noticeably helped - flares were less severe (stool quality) and much shorter in duration. His recovery time was 24-48 hours, and weight loss was minimal. He actually gained weight while taking Gut Rebuild, which is quite the accomplishment.
I had the opportunity for my dog to be one of the first to try the Gut Rebuild Formula from AnimalBiome and WOW! What a difference...within days of starting the supplement his bowel movements had improved! It was incredible to see the transformation!
My dog has a microbiome imbalance, including symptoms that include frequent paw licking. A few days after starting the Gut Rebuild Formula, his bowel movements were consistently PERFECT and a noticeable reduction of paw licking. I used the formula for 30 days and after the supplement ran out, the bowel movements were still good, but not as great as while he was on the supplement. This was my confirmation that the supplement was the undeniable reason for the improvement.
I highly recommend the Gut Rebuild Formula. The list of incredible probiotic ingredients is a fantastic lineup! I also would recommend to use past the 30 days, to get the most benefit out of it...and consult a veterinarian to advise on how long to maintain on the supplement.
I prefer to rotate probiotic supplementation between whole foods and supplement form throughout the year. This is a quality, outstanding option to keep on rotation!
My dog's issues started with flea bites. He developed a bacterial/yeast problem from that which lead to oral antibiotics and antifungals. He never had any GI issues, just skin problems. It seems like it was a downward spiral from the flea incident. I went to two vets, a dermatologist, and a holistic vet. They all gave me new products and supplements to try, as well as immunotherapy drops. I tried an elimination diet, different cleaning methods, air filters, homemade food, raw food, etc. You name it, I have tried it. I limited Enzo's time outdoors, thinking it must be the mold allergy (we live on the coast). I have done dermal allergy testing, the blood test, saliva test, genetic test, etc., to get answers. The last time I saw the holistic vet, she said that Enzo may be the 4th dog in her 18 year practice that she was unable to help. The dermatologist recommended that horrible hydrolized food (ingredients are truly awful), and Apoquel, which I refused. I went to her to find the source of the problem, not mask it with immune-suppressing drugs. I had suggestions from two of the vets that lead to a worsening of the problem, so Enzo went on more antibiotics and antifungals. Once I tried Yeast Beasty Animaleo oil on a hotspot on his lower jaw that was red and crusty, which made the problem explode, necessitating another round of antibiotics and antifungals. Enzo has been on the same diet for a year now since everything seemed to make him flare...from other proteins to grains. I have been grasping at straws. The most recent test I did was the Gut Biome test since "leaky gut" (which the dermatologist denied existed) seemed to be a potential cause of my dogs skin issues. I had been giving my dog Fido's Flora probiotics, which I figured had replaced the good bacteria in his colon...wrong! There was several deficiencies and some overgrowth (due to not having the right bacteria to crowd out the bad). The suggestion was to use fecal transplant. I hesitated. I asked the holistic vet about it, and she agreed. So, I started giving Enzo the pills. He received about half of the pills prior to my vacation. I took Enzo to the kennel, and gave them a long list of instructions and a bag of supplements and skin products. I texted them several times, and they said the hotspots were healing. I assumed it was BS and they didn't want me to worry. He's stayed there several times. When we came home, his coat was thick, the 6 hotspots that he had were completely gone, I mean COMPLETELY. One of the hotspots has been there since last September! I could control it with MiconaHex shampoo, Duoxo calm allergy spray, and MiconaHex mousse or wipes, but nothing ever completely resolved, until now. My husband and I were both in shock. He use to tease me about how many hours a week I spent on Enzo, either making food, researching treatments, or researching products. I am happy but miffed. I have stressed about Enzo for the last 1 1/2 years, feeling that I was letting him down. I am mad that NOT ONE of the vets recommended this test. In all fairness to the holistic vet, we have only seen her twice. I have spent thousands on finding the answer, and was told to give up and just treat the symptoms, because his condition could only be controlled, not cured. Enzo is also much happier. He wakes up with a big smile and prances around the house. I just hope this keeps up, but I am so shocked by the turnaround in his skin, that I had to write a review, in the hopes of helping others out there.
