Introduce slowly. Begin with half of the recommended daily amount, and gradually increase over 1-2 weeks. The daily amount can be split evenly over your pet’s daily meals. Every pet has different needs; the recommended daily amount can be modified. Mix with food or liquid.
The organic beets in this product may cause redder stools; this is normal.

The Fiber blend aroma smells so good I'd almost want to sprinkle it over my own supper! We've been following our veterinarian's direction with several of your products including this one and wow, what a difference. Our beloved Teddy is responding really well on your supplements. His digestion and elimination is improving. Thank you AnimalBiome!
With just three simple ingredients, the Complete Fiber Blend for Cats and Dogs has had a positive impact on my dog’s bowel movements. While changes weren’t dramatic, I’ve noticed more comfort and "bulk" for both Pumpkin and River when they move their bowels. What really gives me peace of mind is knowing that this supplement supports the balance and diversity of their microbiome. The added prebiotics are a quiet powerhouse—an easy, thoughtful addition to their dietary rotation.
My 23-year-old cat who usually sleeps all day is walking laps around the couch, Livingroom, and all over the house. She even meows to go outside to eat some grass every once in a while, which is awesome because she stopped wanting to go outside years ago!
I gave this supplement to two of my cats and one of my dogs for 30 days for a fiber study. Then I have been giving it to all 5 of my dogs and 6 of my cats for the last three weeks. Previously, I had been giving them an inulin/acacia fiber blend. Since they were already used to taking fiber, I did a quicker introduction. They started with half the amount and increased to the full amount within a few days and had no problem adjusting. All the dogs and cats accepted the fiber mixed into their food without a problem. My cats tend to notice the slightest changes to their meal, so I was pleasantly surprised that they accepted the fiber so readily.
All of my cats usually have firm, healthy stools, so there wasn’t too much change. At times, some of their stools were narrower and seemed slightly dehydrated while taking the supplement, but that did not last and caused no concern.
Two of my dogs can randomly have softer stools from time to time. After taking the fiber, their stools are more consistently firm. The third dog tends to have smaller, less moist stools, and her’s did not change consistency at all. The fourth dog has firm, healthy stools, however after taking the supplement for a couple weeks, she had much smaller, dehydrated stools for a few days. The fifth dog, which was part of the study, had soft to loose stools on a more regular basis. The supplement made his stools more consistently firm.
Overall, the Complete Fiber Blend does make stools firmer. Going forward, I will adjust the amount given to the dogs/cats when their stools become too firm and/or dehydrated. This should be easy since the supplement is loose (not in a capsule) and easy to measure with the scoop provided. I am very satisfied with this product!
I have an elderly dog with chronic pancreatitis and a history of frequent bouts of diarrhea. I was using psyllium twice a day to help solidify his stools, and switched to Complete Fiber Blend with breakfast. After a couple of weeks I noticed a lot of improvement in his stools. They are well formed, look healthier, and he hasn’t had diarrhea since starting this product. I definitely recommend this for pets struggling with loose stools. There are some natural sugars in the beets which may have been giving him a little extra energy, so that’s why I chose to use it in the morning only.

I always make sure my dogs get fiber with food and especially when the gut is off. However, this particular fiber blend appears to have balanced Max's gut in just 30 days! He seems healthy and feeling good so he is very chilled behaviorally cos his gut is feeling good. He seems to be dealing better with allergies and dermatitis better after the fiber blend balanced his gut and doesn't get flea bite scabs like before. Clearly his immune system is stronger and he is handling the same issues much better with a well balanced microbiome. Love it and giving it to the other dogs now. It does appear to work a lot better than other fiber options I have tried in the past. Impressive!
I gave this product 5stars because the company makes great products but this one just didn’t work for my cat. Keeping in mind he is 19 years old and has CKD and Hyperthyroidism so it is probably not the product but his age and health instead.
My now 10-year-old (May 9) shih tzu lhasa apso mix Bailey was able to try this new product. He has had gut issues in the past with spitting up yellow foam/bile regularly and has used Gut Restore capsules for years before that really seemed to help. After 1 month of the fiber supplement, he still seems to be doing well and healthy!
Our mini Goldendoodle, Milo, has been diagnosed with IBD. Even though we cook for him to help with his condition, it isn’t easy to get the right amount of fibre in his diet. The fibre blend has made a significant difference! His poohs are still on the soft side but much improved. I’m excited to do another fecal test to see if it has improved his gut biome as well. Thank you Animal Biome group!
While it didn't magically firm up Eddie's stools, Complete Fiber Blend staved off any bouts of diarrhea he might have had in the last month. It does turn kibble and water red but Eddie still ate his meals heartily and seemed unconcerned! We love our Animal Biome products.
Luna, loves the taste of the new fiber supplement and she’s usually so picky having anything added to her food. At the beginning of the one month trial she was a bit constipated and now her stool is moist, well formed and regular as clock work!
Thanks for another great product.
Turns out my pup who needs fiber has a beet intolerance. Gave it to my other dog who was on plain psyllium fiber. I didn't notice any difference except the price.

The Complete Fiber Blend really helped with Elijah’s stomach symptoms. After a month of taking it, he showed so many signs of improvement with firmer stools and less vomiting. Definitely worth a try for any kitties that struggle with IBD.
I highly respect Animal Biome. I’m not 100% sure about this product for my dog. With two bottles of Large Gut Restore we had great success correcting my Labrador’s itchy skin and yeast overgrowth. She was taking the Gut Restore and some digestive enzymes when she began the Fiber Blend study. At first the fiber appeared to be a helpful addition in combination with the Gut Restore and digestive enzymes in making her stools more consistently firm. The packaging is good. It is easy to administer. She didn’t mind the addition of the powder to her food. When I completed the second bottle of Gut Restore and the enzymes, I was hoping the Fiber Blend alone would support her newfound health. However, she rather quickly became itchy again and has developed signs of yeast itch in skin folds. She also came into heat which could be a contributing factor. I await the results of her gut health test. Because the company has very good and knowledgeable customer service, I feel sure they will be able to guide me to a solution.
My dog is doing well with this fiber. I introduced slower than recommended just to be cautious. She had no problems eating it in her food and I hope it will help good bacteria thrive in her gut.
I trust AnimalBiome and their products are excellent. I had two of my 3 cats participate in the product trial. My Siamese got an allergic reaction (skin rash) to the product, but she is super sensitive to a few number of foods. I think the beet pulp was the problem for her. My other cat, the Burmese, didn't particularly like it in his food, but he did eat some of it. My cats are all raw fed. I didn't see any change in their stool quality, but then again, my cats didn't really have any GI issues to begin with.
I love AnimalBiome and what what do for pets, but I honestly didn't see any change when using the fiber blend. But that may be because my kitties (3 of them) didn't need it. I also haven't seen the after results from their biome test, so there may be improvement that I am not seeing myself.
If you try it, I recommend starting with a much smaller amount, and increase to recommended amount over 3-4 days. It worked fine for mine (who don't like things added to their food). I feel safe using their products.
Seems like a good product, but I don't know if it helped my cat. It may have made her poop more often and made it slightly softer, but she did not have constipation before this product.
My cat Silver had no problems eating this in her food. She is mostly on a raw diet with occasional wet food, and her stools used to be small and firm. After adding fiber I noticed that her stools became slightly larger, softer and easier to pass. The addition of fiber helps prevent her from being constipated and ensures that she maintains a healthy and regular digestive system.
We received the product as part of the one-month clinical trial on gut health. My dog loves the smell and taste of the powder on her kibbles so much that she would sit on her own to wait patiently as soon as I opened the jar to scoop some into her kibble dinners. Powder color did get darken and more clumps observed as weeks went by, despite only opening the jar briefly to scoop out 1/4-1/2 scoop a day onto her dinner. Given she weighs 9 pounds, one jar would last many months. Perhaps consider different format (single serve pack/capsule like FortiFlora/Proviable/Visbiome or chewable bites like Zesty Paws or Pill pocket concept), so that air exposure won't clump up the powder or darken the powder color not to mention different packaging would make it easier to bring the powder (e.g., going on a trip or bringing to daycare/boarding (less handling easier for the staffs)).
No side effects, so that's good. Helped maintained consistency.
This seems like a good product although my cat couldn't tolerate more than 1/32 tsp twice a day. His poop is more on the soft side. I'm excited to see if his gut micrombe has improved on the fiber.
This was an easy to use fiber additive/supplement to my pets food daily. The flavor was accepted well by both our dogs and cat. The results of using this fiber produced less constipation and diarrhea and more formed poops and regularity.
Complete Fiber Blend is helping my cat’s IBS/IBD. Her stools were like soft-serve before and now are firmer. The color of her stools would range from white to light brown and have become noticeably darker. She has had issues with going outside of the box and that has become much less frequent and that alone is worth every penny of this product.
My dog does have a sensitive stomach but adjusted to this fine (starting slow) with no problems.
