Alex Martin is the Chief of Staff at AnimalBiome. She got her start in shelter medicine, caring and advocating for some of the community’s most vulnerable pets. She has worked at AnimalBiome since it was founded in 2016, and has worked on everything from cat poop collection, to advising pet parents, to DNA sequencing in the laboratory. She lives in San Diego with her cat and dog.
