We have a 13 year Cocapoo named Benny. Sweetest dog in the world. About a year ago out of nowhere his stool started Changing to fall colors. Yellow and orange. Over 10 thousand dollars later and a Prescription diet he refused to eat, We turned to animal biome. The test was instrumental in getting benny on the road to better health. We also added gut restore and gmp to his daily routine. We just had his 2nd test done and we are seeing improvements. Benny seems to be happier and his stool looks much better. A year and a half/2 years later after trying to figure out (as a Nutritionist) what one of my cat's diarhhea and throwing up issues were, between changing foods a gazillion times, finally I did the stool testing resulting in deficient friendly bacteria, various Animal Biome products, finally resulting in giving him the Gut Defender, Gut Restore, and a steroid (not a fan but I'd tried everything), and those 3 are the fantastic trio. Our dog was suffering badly with bouts of pancreatitis, gastritis and diarrhea all summer. We had tried the probiotics the vet prescribed but could not get him off antibiotics without recurrent diarrhea. He was severely underweight and we were considering euthanasia as he is 14 years old. We tried changing his dog food, steroids, and eliminating all treats. Even a strict homemade diet didn’t do the trick. We started him on this product and he was able to wean off antibiotics and steroids successfully. His weight is back on and he has been happy and vibrant despite his age. Very thankful we came across this.

We have a big pup (110 lbs) that has always had problems with very loose stools. We are giving him 2 a day, one am and one pm. Has seemed to help. My biggest complaint in the price.....not sure we can continue with the cost of these. Most days he is more solid and better than he was. But so $$$$$.

About a year ago, seemingly out of nowhere, Augie developed IBD and a slew of allergies and I struggled to find anything to feed him that he was willing to eat that didn't make him sicker. His anxiety levels also went through the roof, and he'd go into an absolute panic for something as small as a fly in the house. Eventually I discovered that cooking him sweet potatoes and tilapia, fortified with pricy supplements, was palatable and allowed him to put some weight back on, but as a giant breed, cooking for him was consuming a lot of my time and budget. I was pretty skeptical when I heard about Gut Restore, but it's done wonders. He's back to his big healthy, bouncy self, excitedly eating limited ingredient kibble and the occasional treat, and his IBD-related anxiety has abated (he's high strung in general, but it was unmanageable for a while there). He was in such bad shape when we started that the Gut Restore was making him sicker, so we had to start very slowly, with one pill every other morning so that I could monitor him during the day. Over time we built up to two a day and will keep him on two a day for a month before tapering off.

The 15 min phone consultation that was included was great as well. I did learn a lot. Even the lady just telling me that as far as for people, they should do fermented food even over probiotics, since there is no gut restore for them haha.

I do think my pup is doing much better now. Her poop isn’t runny and she seems happier and more content. I was told to also use the GMP to compliment gut restore.

Also I thought I couldn’t get the tiny capsules in my 4lb chi but in cheese it worked! Even just adding pill to something she likes eating helps as she barely noticed.

Thanks for the great products, I think it could have saved my last 2lb chi with gut issues had I known. After years of trying everything and stomach issues, he aspirated and wasn’t responding to antibiotics. Too bad I had a vet who kept recommending antibiotics which ruins good bacteria instead of this to help grow the good bacteria. Sad but glad I can help this new pup & recommend this to help others :)

This is the only thing I can use to give my dog her pills, and she will take it. I have tried other brands and flavors, but they usually upset her stomach. This pill putty is the best, and she enjoys the taste of it. I have only tried the chicken flavor, and it's all I need.

My almost 10 year old mixed breed pup has always had tummy issues and was diagnosed with IBD in 2022. Tried various interventions and a new specialist recommended Gut Restore. Since using Gut Restore (about a year), my pup no longer suffers from constant bouts of diarrhea. The cost is worth it as it has helped prevent regular ER visits, which greatly stresses my pup (and my wallet). I am so happy this was recommended by his specialist.

My mini poodle got diarrhea quite a few times and was given antibiotics/probiotics by our vet. We couldn’t figure out why she was getting diarrhea frequently. I did bloodwork, fecal tests, prescription diets. Nothing helped. I tried gut restore and within a week I noticed results. Her diarrhea was bad so we started with 1 twice a day than as she improved went to 1 once a day. I kept her on it for about 2 months. Her poops are better than ever consistently! I’m so happy!

Our puppy, Rocky (1.5yo), was having bouts of an upset belly and was uninterested in meals regularly. We used this product for two months and he has completely turned around. This is a very overdue review since I've been lazy, but we've been using FOS for the past year and a half. We also used the FMT capsules (Gut Restore) for the first year until eventually tapering off those because of the price.

Our pittie, Diamond, had Giardia (and metronidazole/flagyl antibiotics for it) at the shelter for who knows how long. She had loose stools and food intolerances (itchy, hot/red ears, lots of tears).

Diamond still has allergies (mainly beef) but the list of foods that she can eat has increased a lot! She can eat more grains and even chicken now without a reaction. We still give her the FOS daily because she needs it to regulate her poo (with it she poops once a daily, without it she poops once every other day).

Our kitty was diagnosed with IBD and we started giving him a steroid which helped with his appetite but his poops were still large, pale, soft and very smelly. We did the gut test and found out he had an overgrowth of bad bacteria and very little beneficial bacteria. We started the Gut Defender and within days his poops are consistently solid, segmented, darker and less smelly. We’re starting the FMT next and I have high hopes we’ll get to the root of the issue and be able to reduce (or remove) the steroid. The results were so fast and so effective, this product really works for our IBD kitty!

We rescued a Standard Poodle, that unknowing to us, had Giardia. Luckily I had scheduled a Vet check appt prior to getting him so was able to get him in with our vet within 48 hours. Unfortunately we had to do two rounds of antibiotics and de-wormer for all 3 of our boys before clearing it. This left Kash’s stomach in a mess so we ended up having to start a prescription food and a forum I’m on mentioned this product so I immediately ordered it. His stool within 48 hours had hardened up enough to be able to pick up. No more mushy poo piles everywhere! I tried taking him off of these during his 2nd month, but the stool immediately went back to mush so we’re now on month 3 of this and Hills Biome dry kibble and all is well. Due to his Giardia being so severe, my vet said he may have to stay on this duo for months. I’m really glad to have been recommended the GMP, because it has made our dog’s gut so much better. I am so glad I found this product! My 13 pound Alaskan Klee Kai has had colitis every 6 months since I’ve had her and it usually lasts a month or so/ is a challenge to get rid of. Early this year, it literally took 4 months. Our vet did every test you can think of - including an ultrasound- and everything kept coming up normal. In my panic induced googling, I found gut restore and decided to try out the 90 day reset (includes GMP pills too). These completely changed her life. Her stools have been completely normal for 4 months now. In the event that she has indigestion, the reaction is minimal and her stool returns to normal immediately. Her allergies also seemed to disappear. I was really skeptical at first, but so so glad I decided to try this. If your dog is having any gastric trouble at all, give this a try. I have a very picky eater and when she doesn't eat I need to add a topper to her food. These fish bites must smell and taste good as she gobbles up her food right away. I love that the only ingredient is fish.

This product has been life changing for my small poodle mix who has had chronic soft stools. I was able to also do the glacier's peak pet intolerance test to eliminate his food sensitivities but due to his chronic pancreatitis and having his gut biome negatively impacted by rounds of pancreatitis he was struggling with loose stools/maldigestion and losing weight quickly. The vet initially suggested Visbiome which did not help and another round of antibiotics (which would only be a temporary solution and his symptoms would worsen and return once stopped). Instead of getting another refill of metronidazole, I decided to give this product a try. Within a day his stools were already firming up and improved quickly over the next week. It's been about three weeks now of daily use and he is able to gain back some weight and has not had a single loose stool. I am so grateful for this product.

My 14 yr old cat Oscar had diarrhea for almost a year straight before trying this supplement.
