I’ve tried other digestive enzymes but this one takes the cake! One of the consultants advised to put it in his food and let it sit for 15 minutes before feeding. It truly has helped our dog, Milo. Thank you Animal Biome!

My rescue dog-doll has no observable GI issues. But testing shows that she’s missing important good bacti strains, likely due to abx she needed to defeat leptospirosis.
So we won’t be able to assess G Restore’s efficacy until a re-test 3 months post her initial 3-month regimen.
Unlike the suggested twice/day dosing, she takes just 1, as her holistic nutritionist didn’t want to risk upsetting her symptomatically stable GI system.
Effectively, I’ll need to write a follow-up review in a few months.

My kitty has IBD and had become lethargic. The fmt capsules really helped her but she had seem to age a lot while she was suffering. Adding just a tiny bit of the mushroom powder in her soft food has produced noticeable changes. She is a lot more playful and she used to have an eye that was always dripping fluid. None of the Vets could figure out what was going on with her eye. After about a week on the mushroom product she had a lot more energy and seemed happier. And after a month, her eye quit watering. My veterinarian recommended the Biome test, and following the recommendations, I administered the Gut Cleanse product for 30 days. No vomiting or loose stool for 3 weeks, but then the symptoms returned. So I administered another month of the gut cleanse and followed up with this product. My dog threw up in the first week, but now we are 6+ weeks symptom free. Her energy is back up, playful again, even at 7 yrs of age. Works wonderful

Close to two years ago, both my cats suddenly started to have diarrhea. They are sisters, and their symptoms began two weeks apart. My vet and I began with all the usual -- fecal float test, slow change of food to a hydrolyzed diet, steroids for inflammation, pectin to solidify stool, etc. Initially, we thought we had success and thought food allergy, but no luck; symptoms began to flare after four months of silence. The loose stools were so frequent and worrisome -- we changed foods again to a biome-specific kibble but still no success at alleviating their diarrhea.

So finally, we decided to try Animal Biome -- a company that my vet knew a previous patient had success with years ago. I did the initial gut health test on both the girls and started them on S. boulardii + FOS exactly a year ago today, and along with Animal Biome's other products (fiber, Gut Restore especially), I cannot BELIEVE the success we've had.

Are the poops always perfect? No. Once or twice a month I'll get a stool wrapped in a film of mucus, or slightly soft, but that's it. After a year of all my worry, their weight loss and constant, horrible diarrhea, they are so much better than my vet and I ever thought so. They are stable, and Coffey even gained three pounds in 8 months! Their fur looks better, their tummies are happier, and I'm just in awe of this product and this company. For anyone that might have trouble getting their cats to eat it on their food, my girls get their powder in capsules daily. It's easy to fill and pill if you need to, though my cats gobble them up after meals like they are treats. If your animal's stools are irregular, just try this product. It saved us.

While I have been asked to review the gut test, I find it hard to do so without incorporating the other products. It does not stand alone. Here's the story. Over two years ago, we started fostering a cat who was very ill. For more than a year, the vet had been suggesting to the rescue that they euthanize her. When we got her, she was losing her food from both ends of her body. She would throw up and have diarrhea at the same time, and she did it many times a day. She was down to 4.5 pounds. We tried all the prescription diets the vet asked us to experiment with. It was awful. Each one had to be tried for three months (they were not the ones picking up the poop.) After the vet gave up completely, I found better non-prescription foods by myself (Stella Chewy's Freeze Dried Raw.) That helped but did not solve the problem. Then I found Animal Biome in October 2023. The report told us that Solstice was missing key bacteria found in healthy pets. 83% of her bacteria was one thing. Over the last two years, we have used Animal Biome Products to add healthy bacteria and balance it. Finally, in July 2025, her bacteria is healthy and balanced. My dog Champ has been on Gut restore since October 2024 at age 11 months.
He had IBD, Gastrointestinal Dysbiosis and severe anxiety from having his gut flora destroyed after three rounds of flagyl. I kept going to my regular vet with bloody stool 12-16 times a day and they would put him on flagyl. Henceforth I choose a Certified Holistic Veterinarian who the first visit put him on Gut Restore. One of my dogs had Giardia and couple rounds of dewormer and antibiotics and his gut was a hot mess …. Until we started the gut restore it was like a miracle. You could tell that he was feeling almost instantly better. It took 2 bottles of the gut restore until he stopped having diarrhea. We also started him on the GMP in the morning and the Gut defender at dinner and it is the best combination for all my 4 dogs… thank you animal biome for creating so an amazing products.
