Directions for Use

Follow the recommended daily amount from the chart below, or use as directed by a veterinarian. Give capsules by mouth with food. If your dog has trouble taking capsules whole, you can open the capsule and mix the powder with food or a treat.

Bless this product for doggy help

I was introduced to AnimalBiome by my specialty vet many years ago. The Gut Supplement and GMP with or with "doggy poop" are MIRACLE products. Nothing is as gentle on the dogs internals or as certain to cure the problem.

Much needed relief!!

Buddy is a 9yo German Shepherd mix I found at the Humane Society. He was surrendered by his elderly owner, saying she just couldn't keep him any longer. (her vet refused to "put him down") Buddy runs around the yard like he is just a pup! But his appetite was poor and I noticed loose stools. My vet did a lab smear and found nothing wrong..I had read an article about this product and decided to give it a try...within 2 days the stools were firmer and his appetite improved ...and that was giving him 1 capsule daily! Saved my dog

This is an amazing product, my dog had diarrhea for 6 months with no obvious reason, all regular tests were normal and doctors blamed everything on the diet. I ran the gut microbiome test which revealed elevated e.coli levels and starting the treatment with the gut cleanse had almost immediate effect. Amazing product

Great Pre & Probiotic!

I’ve been using this after the Vet prescribed probiotic for my 6 month old puppy. She was on antibiotics for 2 months straight (bite wounds and ecoli infection) and her gut health was destroyed. Can I use GMP instead of Gut Restore?

GMP is intended for specific imbalances, particularly high levels of E. coli and/or Clostridium bacteria. GMP is especially good for occasional diarrhea to get things “back on track.” By contrast, Gut Restore is made of fecal material from a healthy dog, and is intended to reintroduce missing bacterial groups and rebalance the gut. While both supplements are great for gut health, especially when given together, they are not interchangeable.

How long should my dog stay on this supplement?

This supplement is intended to resolve cases of diarrhea or soft stools within 60 days. If symptoms are reduced or eliminated, the GMP is safe to continue long-term. If your dog has taken GMP for longer than 60 days and you haven’t noticed an improvement, please consult your dog’s veterinarian.

Can I open these capsules and mix the powder with food?

Yes, if your dog has trouble taking capsules whole, you can open the capsule and mix the powder with food or a treat.

Is this supplement right for my dog?

This supplement is intended to help achieve and maintain a healthy gut microbiome. Specifically, it reduces populations of certain bacteria, such as E. coli and Clostridium, that can contribute to health problems when present in large numbers. Prior to beginning this supplement, we recommend testing your dog’s gut microbiome with a Gut Microbiome Test.

Can I continue my dog’s other medications and supplements?

GMP can be given with any other medications or supplements. While many dogs benefit from Gut Maintenance Plus, we always recommend checking with your dog’s veterinarian before adding any new supplement.

Are there any risks associated with GMP?

While this supplement is intended specifically for dogs with microbiome-related health issues, in very rare cases, it can cause symptoms to worsen. If your dog’s symptoms worsen after beginning this supplement, stop giving it until their condition stabilizes.
