a good fit for my dog

My pup is getting older, and he's always been pretty thin. he's rejected other digestive enzymes because he doesn't like the taste, but this one he doesn't seem to mind, and he's continued to eat just like normal. it's too early to tell yet if it's helping him to gain any weight, but it's certainly worth a shot!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to give my pet Daily Digest with every meal?

The job of Daily Digest is to help break down your pet’s food. To maximize the benefits of the enzymes in Daily Digest, the powder must be added to each meal.

Is it safe to give my pet Daily Digest at the same time as a probiotic?

Yes. The digestive enzymes in Daily Digest will not impact the effectiveness of probiotics.

Can I mix Daily Digest with my pet’s water instead?

We don’t recommend that you mix the Daily Digest powder with water. It is not harmful to do so, but for the enzymes to work, they need to be given with your pet’s food.

Why do I need to discard food that I’ve added Daily Digest to after 30 minutes?

This powerful blend of digestive enzymes starts breaking down food right away. This majority of this process needs to take place in your pet’s stomach in order to reap the benefits of the digestive enzymes.

Is Daily Digest an appropriate enzyme supplement for pets with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) or other pancreatic disorders?

Daily Digest is not intended for pets diagnosed with pancreatic conditions like Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI). It’s not harmful for a pet with one of these conditions to ingest Daily Digest, but we recommend consulting with your pet’s veterinarian about the best options for managing your pet’s condition.

Can Daily Digest be given with other AnimalBiome supplements?

Due to the amount of prebiotic fiber in both S boulardii + FOS and Digestive Enzymes, some pets may experience digestive upset. If this occurs, reduce the S boulardii + FOS amount by half, and gradually increase over 2-3 weeks.

Are there any risks associated with Daily Digest?

In very rare cases, and with long-term use, digestive enzymes can irritate the lining of the upper digestive tract. Contact your veterinarian if symptoms arise.
